Dornier MedTech’s Digital Urology Platform

Connecting patients, physicians and all things Urology.

With our record of delivering industry-leading innovation in medical technology, and our rapidly expanding engagement with patients across urology, we are closer to the customer than any other in the market.

Introducing Worst Pain Ever

Since our inception, Dornier MedTech has been committed to advancing urologic innovation and patient care. “Worst Pain Ever”, our urologic patient outreach initiative, was borne out of this endeavor.

As a patient community platform, we seek to improve patients’ well-being by empowering them with useful information, supporting them through our active community and bringing joy through our relatable content.

We currently manage two patient communities, focused on Kidney Stones and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia respectively. With more than 50 million patient and caregiver visits annually, Worst Pain Ever is well-positioned to improve patient care by bringing the best of Dornier MedTech to our physicians and patients. We strive to improve the quality of care along various points in the patient journey, from Education, to Prevention and Treatment.

“I have been electrocuted, kicked in the balls, bitten by a dog and shot in the leg. Kidney stone pain is truly the worst pain one can experience.”

1 in 11 people will suffer from kidney stones in their lifetime. For many of them, it will be a recurring struggle. Our Kidney Stones patient community aims to give these silent sufferers a voice and a community, and to help them better manage their condition. Since its launch in September 2020, we have amassed more than 45 million patient and caregiver visits.

As our community members needs evolve, we have expanded into worstpainever.com, our flagship website where we offer exclusive content such as interviews with urologists and videos.

1 in 2 men will develop an enlarged prostate, otherwise known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), by the age of 60. It is estimated that after the age of 80, 90% men will have BPH. It often leads to lower urinary tract symptoms, which can be embarrassing for older men.

Our Enlarged Prostate patient community is a non-judgmental space where we share easy-to-understand information and encourage open conversations about navigating through life with BPH. Launched in mid-November 2021, the community has grown to 30,000 and counting, within its first quarter.

Find My Uro

Find My Uro is a search and review platform, developed with our kidney stone patients in mind. Inspired by feedback from our patient communities, Find My Uro makes it easy for patients to find urologists that they can trust – backed by useful information and vouches from a community that truly knows the worst pain ever.
